The North Carolina Tar Heels face the Kentucky Wildcats at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, December 17. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

The North Carolina Tar Heels and Kentucky Wildcats are perennial contenders in the college basketball world. What’s great, though, is that the two historically great programs face off quite often. That’s the case again in the 2016 college basketball season. And on Saturday, they’ll meet again at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

Despite a hot start, North Carolina has struggled of late. Of course, the Tar Heels have been playing without arguably their best two-way player in point guard Joel Berry. Berry is slated to return for this massive showdown on Saturday, though. UNC has to hope that means that the performance of Justin Jackson, Kennedy Meeks, and Isaiah Hicks will improve with their point guard back in action.

Meanwhile, Kentucky also has just one loss on the year, falling to Lonzo Ball and the ridiculously talented UCLA Bruins. When you have a group of freshmen like Malik Monk, Bam Adeayo, and De’Aaron Fox, it’s easy to have that type of success. But up against an experienced North Carolina team, it’ll be interesting to see how they respond.

Saturday’s high-profile matchup will be broadcast on CBS with live streaming online through CBS All-Access. You can use the service and stream by logging in with a paid subscription.

This game clearly has huge implications moving forward given the quality of both programs. The return of Berry for North Carolina is enormous, but will there be rust? Regardless, this is a matchup we could potentially see come tourney time in March or April.
