NFL Week 15 inactives: DeAngelo Williams, Cordy Glenn out

With the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoffs coming up, here are the players that will be inactive for the early games in Week 15, including DeAngelo Williams.

Week 15 is about to see the bulk of its NFL games underway. With the 1:00 p.m. ET start times coming up, here are the players that will be inactive on Sunday afternoon.

The two most notable players that will be inactive on Sunday are Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams and Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Cordy Glenn.

With Williams out, that means even more touches for Steelers’ bell-cow back Le’Veon Bell against the Cincinnati Bengals. Be sure to take Williams out of your starting lineup in fantasy and hope that you’re not going up against Bell in the playoffs in Week 15.

Glenn’s absence is also important because it will be a big loss up front on the Bills offensive. Both Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor and running back LeSean McCoy have been great fantasy plays this year because of their dynamic running game. Not having Glenn available might mean that the Bills will be mailing it in, knowing that Rex Ryan might be coaching his last game in Orchard Park.

It’s good news for the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Green Bay will be having both quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wide receiver Randall Cobb for Sunday’s game against the rival Chicago Bears in Soldier Field.

Cobb may not be the best play on Sunday in the Green Bay receiving corps. Both Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams have been more explosive receiving threats this season for the Packers. Rodgers likely won’t scramble much in this game. He won’t turn the football over, but look for him to be a slightly better version of a game manager in frigid conditions against the Bears.
