Did Rich Swann leave WWE Roadblock: End of the Line in Pittsburgh with the Cruiserweight title after defending against TJ Perkins and The Brian Kendrick?

WWE Roadblock: End of the Line brought a triple threat match featuring the only three men to hold the newest edition of the WWE Cruiserweight Championship: the first champion TJ Perkins, the second champion The Brian Kendrick and the current champion Rich Swann.

The match came about after the situation that transpired a title match between Swann and Kendrick during an episode of 205Live when Kendrick came flying into Perkins, who was helping with commentary for the match. A brawl took place between Perkins and Kendrick, which led to both men getting a shot at Swann’s title on Sunday night.

In typical cruiserweight fashion, the action started fast and got going in a hurry.

Swann didn’t have the champion’s advantage, being that he didn’t have to be pinned or made to submit to lose the title. That means being on his toes throughout the match, including breaking up other submission attempts like this one.

All three competitors had their chances throughout the match, including Kendrick locking in the Captain’s Hook on Swann.

The match’s conclusion came off a double superkick from Swann and Perkins, followed by a surprising superkick on Perkins from Swann to get the 1-2-3 and the win.

But, the night was far from over for the cruiserweights.

The returning Neville came down to the ring after Swann’s victory, and he wasn’t here to make friends.

Neville took out Perkins and Swann in devastating fashion, and became the hottest name in the division.

The division was sent a message and it was a loud one.

It appears Rich Swann has a new challenger for his gold and it’s a former NXT champion with eyes set on the title.
