Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins went on a serious rant after a bizarre ejection that ended up being rescinded.

DeMarcus Cousins had another monster performance for the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night. He finished the game with 55 points and 13 rebounds against the Portland Trail Blazers. However, that’s not what people are going to be talking about after this one.

Late in the game against the Blazers, Cousins was able to drive to the hoop, score and pick up the foul. He was so fired up after the play that he spit his mouthpiece out at Trail Blazers center Meyers Leonard. He would receive a second technical and would be ejected from the game. Then in a bizarre turn of events, the technical was rescinded as it was deemed an accident. He would return to the game and make his free throw en route to the win.

After the game, Cousins was interviewed on the floor and was given a live mic. He took every opportunity to go off on the league and explain how they’re out to get him while explaining his feelings toward Leonard. The mic would end up being abruptly cut during his interview before things got worse.

While Cousins is certainly an emotional player, this was probably not the right time to interview him. He already wasn’t in a great state after being ejected initially and with everything that has gone over with him in recent weeks, it did not end well at all.

Making remarks about the league results in a fine in most cases and if Cousins avoided one by not getting ejected, he certainly earned one here. He had a great night on the floor but ultimately blew his lid at the end and it did not end well again.
