Fran McCaffery was not a huge fan of what North Dakota did on Tuesday night, so he pulled his Iowa team off the court

The Iowa Hawkeyes took on North Dakota Tuesday night, a game in which they came away with an 84-73 win. Now with this being the case, you would assume that head coach Fran McCaffery would be a pleased man. But if we have learned anything about McCaffery, it’s that there are a lot of things that can set him off, and that’s exactly what North Dakota did on Tuesday.

In the waning moments of the game, Iowa was just looking to hold onto the ball and let the clock run out. Well as that clock was ticking down, and North Dakota player stole the ball to try and get one more bucket in before the buzzer sounded.

Iowa was coming out with the win no matter what, but McCaffery was still not a happy camper. He was so unhappy, in fact, that he pulled his Iowa team off the court as soon as the game ended, refusing to shake hands.

Yeah … McCaffery was not in the best of moods there. But, again, we’ve seen him lose it a few times throughout his career in Iowa City.

In the end, while amusing to see McCaffery so angry that he pulls his team from the handshake line, this is a really bad look for the program. While it maybe wasn’t a logical move for North Dakota to try and get one more bucket, there’s still no reason to get so upset that you can’t at least be the bigger men in all of this.
