Live stream and how to watch the Missouri State Bears (8-3) at #23 USC Trojans (11-0) on television and online on Thursday, December 22.

USC heads to Las Vegas on Thursday to take on the Missouri State Bears as the Trojans look to keep up their winning ways in the continuation of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic.

USC found itself in a bigger battle with than was expected in facing off against a 2-6 team. The Trojans only led by 3 points at the half, 37-34. The pulled away for a 79-67 win in the end, but the game was eye-opening for the team. USC coach Andy Enfield can hardly believe his team is undefeated after 11 games. “Our team is streaky, but we’re talented and we’re young and they play well together. As optimistic and proud as we are of them, we know we have a lot of work to do.”

This matchup will be an interesting test for USC, as Missouri State leads the Trojans in field goal percentage (48.2% vs 46.5%), so keeping the Bears away from the charity line will be key for the Trojans, who can’t afford to give away points to Missouri State. Bears guard Ronnie Rousseau III leads the team with 13.2 points per game and forward Alize Johnson leads the team with 9 rebounds per game.  Compare this to USC’s Elijah Stewart, who averages 15.5 PPG, and forward Chimezie Metu who leads the team with 7.8 rebounds per game.

The bottom line is that if Missouri State comes to play in this neutral site game, they could pose a threat to USC’s perfect record. USC needs to play tight and avoid giving away points through careless fouls in order to come out with a win.
