A look at how to watch Friday night’s Dollar General Bowl game between Ohio and Troy online.

The college football bowl season will continue with a handful of games as we get closer to Christmas. On Friday, December 23, the Dollar General Bowl will take place between Ohio and Troy. This will take place at the Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, AL.

Ohio is coming off an 8-5 season but recently went down to No. 17 Western Michigan. Before that, the Bobcats defeated Akron in a tight game full of field goals. The final score would be 9-3. The latter part of the season has seen quarterback Quinton Maxwell become the starter. He has bounced back and forth with Greg Windham for the job, though, with both players struggling. Both barely got their completion percentages above 55 percent, but have protected the ball well with just eight interceptions.

Troy finished the 2016 season at 9-3, including a seven-game winning streak during the middle of the year. The Trojans ended the year with losses in two of their last three matchups, though, including a 35-3 blowout defeat to Arkansas State.

Troy had a balanced offense throughout the year. It was led by quarterback Brandon Silvers and running back Jordan Chunn, who led this offense to over 5,000 total yards, with over 2,000 coming on the ground. Can they find more success in their final game of the year on Friday night?
