The North Carolina State Wolfpack will face the Vanderbilt Commodores in the Camping World Independence Bowl. Here is how to watch this bowl game online.
College football has three bowl games the day after Christmas, Monday, Dec. 26. One of those games will be the Camping World Independence Bowl between the North Carolina State Wolfpack (6-6) and the Vanderbilt Commodores (6-6).
Kickoff from Independence Stadium in Shreveport will be at 5:00 p.m. ET. ESPN 2 will carry the bowl game. The available live stream can be found on WatchESPN.
North Carolina State achieved bowl eligibility by beating the in-state rival North Carolina Tar Heels in Chapel Hill on the final week of the regular season. The Wolfpack were again a middle of the pack team, pun intended, in the ACC Atlantic this year.
Vanderbilt achieved bowl eligibility by beating the in-state rival Tennessee Volunteers in Nashville on the final week of the regular season. The Commodores are one of 12 teams in the SEC to attain bowl eligibility this football season. This is the first bowl of the Derek Mason era of Vanderbilt football.

According to OddsShark.com, North Carolina State will be a 5.5-point favorite at a neutral site over Vanderbilt. The associated moneylines for the Independence Bowl are North Carolina State -230 and Vanderbilt +190. This game’s over/under comes in at a combined 44 points.
Las Vegas thinks that North Carolina State has the better offense over Vanderbilt. The Wolfpack are probably better through the air than Vanderbilt. However, Vanderbilt has had a strong defense in the SEC led by middle linebacker Zach Cunningham all season. For a pair of 6-6 teams going head-to-head, this should be a fun watch on Monday evening the day after Christmas.
