Southampton host Tottenham at St. Mary’s on Wednesday, December 28. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Mauricio Pochettino returns to St Mary’s once again as Southampton host Tottenham on Wednesday night. The Argentine will be hoping for a win over his old club but he’ll know that it won’t be easy. Southampton have only lost once at home all season and that was to league leaders Chelsea. Claude Puel’s side came from behind to win at Bournemouth in their last match and that should give them confidence to take something from this match.

Tottenham have been unconvincing away from home and have not won in their last five away matches. If they want to finish in the top four again then they will need to turn this form around. Spurs are rock solid at home so if they can take more points on the road then they will can put pressure on the teams above them. Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City all won at the weekend so if Tottenham are to keep up then anything but three points would be a disappointing result. Last season the away side won both times in this fixture so Pochettino will be hoping for this trend to continue.
