The North Carolina Tar Heels face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Saturday at McCamish Pavilion. Here’s all the info you need to watch

As 2016 comes to a close, the North Carolina Tar Heels still sit as one of the more dangerous college basketball teams in the country. Though they have a few hard-fought losses on their record, they can play with anyone. They’ll need to prove that as ACC play starts, though. Roy Williams’ Tar Heels start that road at McCamish Pavilion taking on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

North Carolina continues to be led by a slew of veterans. Joel Berry looks healthy at point guard, but it’s the frontcourt that needs to be huge on a consistent basis. Justin Jackson, Kennedy Meeks, Isaiah Hicks, and freshman Tony Bradley have to be forces night in and night out, especially in conference play as the stakes are raised. That even applies to Georgia Tech.

The Yellow Jackets enter the game at 8-4 and not having a great deal of confidence about them. If they’re to start ACC play with an upset, though, it’ll take Ben Lammers having a masterful showing.

Saturday’s game will kick off conference play, so it’s only fitting it be broadcast on ACC Network. As that channel is only currently available online, you’ll need to stream the game online through WatchESPN. To end 2016, the Tar Heels would love nothing more than their first ACC win. However, even a team that’s lackluster like Georgia Tech can be tricky in the conference. As such, North Carolina needs to be on their toes and Ol’ Roy needs to have his team focused heading into Saturday.
