Manchester City welcome Burnley to City of Manchester on Monday, Jan. 1. Here’s all the info you need to watch this early 2017 action.

After pulling off several victories in a row, Manchester City’s streak was halted by the Jurgen Klopp’s high-octane offense. Typically it has been the City defense that has let them down during the 16/17 season. However, limiting Liverpool to only one goal is actually good this year. Instead of was a lackluster attack, even with Sergio Aguero back, that failed to match the effort of Liverpool. The gap to the top now sits at 10 points for City, who will view this game as an absolute must-win.

Meanwhile, Burnley will enter the Etihad on possibly their best form this season. They blasted Sunderland away in a 4-1 result over the weekend, keeping them in close contention for a top half of the table spot. Two straight victories for the Clarets will have them feeling they may have a chance to come away with a point. However, Burnley has been unable to win away from home all season, and in fact, their only draw on the road came in Manchester, against United in October.

The Premier League match between Manchester City and Burnley will be airing on CNBC, and streaming live on NBCSports Extra. You can access the mobile coverage with your cable or satellite subscriptions, either online or through the NBC Sports app.
