Senegal vs. Algeria live stream: Watch African Cup of Nations online
By Phil Naegely

Senegal face Algeria in the African Cup of Nations on Monday, Jan. 23. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
It’s been a successful group stage for Senegal at the African Cup of Nations. They qualified for the knockout round after winning their first two matches against Tunisia and Zimbabwe in Group B action.
Senegal’s best AFCON finish came in 2002, when they lost in the championship game. Based off group stage action, Senegal could make another deep run in this year’s knockout stage. Yet, the competition will only get harder once the group stage action concludes.
On the other hand, Algeria need a win to even have a chance to move on. Currently, Algeria have one point with Tunisia sitting in second with three points. If Tunisia win against Zimbabwe in the other Group B match, then Tunisia will move on. However, a Tunisia tie and an Algeria win would give each team four points. Likewise, if Zimbabwe and Algeria both win, then each would have four points. Currently, Algeria has a -1 goal differential, while Zimbabwe has a -2 goal differential.

Senegal have already clinched a spot in the knockout round. As a result, it wouldn’t be shocking if they rested some of their top players against Algeria. Algeria needs to play their best soccer of the event if they have any chance of playing in the knockout round.
