High Value C

Greg Monroe-Milwaukee Bucks (5,700): Monroe’s spot in Milwaukee’s rotation is hard to figure out, but he has been excellent in his last two games with 17-10-1 for 34.5 fantasy points against the Rockets and 28-9-2 for 39.8 fantasy points against the Sixers. Monroe had been held under 25 fantasy points for five straight before those two promising outings, but he should be able to continue his success if he gets 25+ minutes against Toronto tonight.∗∗∗

Clint Capela-Houston Rockets (4,800): The Rockets moved Capela back into the starting lineup against the Bucks on Monday and he had 16-3-1 for 21.1 fantasy points followed by 12-7-1 for 24.9 fantasy points in Boston on Wednesday. Tonight, he’ll likely get another start against the Sixers against either Jahlil Okafor or Joel Embiid. Since Philadelphia is allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing centers, Capela is an interesting play at under 5K.∗∗∗

Guillermo Hernangomez-New York Knicks (4,700): Hernangomez has seized the backup C spot for the Knicks and has been doing work on the glass. He had 14-10-2 with two blocks on Monday for 35 fantasy points and followed that with 8-16-0 and thee steals for 33.2 fantasy points on Wednesday in Dallas. Hernangomez is risky since he’s still coming off the bench behind Joakim Noah, but he is showing he can be a part of the Knicks plans moving forward.∗∗

Willie Reed-Miami Heat (3,900): Reed will get the call for Miami tonight with Hassan Whiteside out. Even though we’re sure to see lots of small lineups with James Johnson in the middle, it’s worth noting that the last stretch Whiteside was out Reed had two massive games with 22-18-2 and 22-12-2 in Phoenix and LA for 51.6 fantasy points and 45.4 fantasy points. He is a boom-or-bust option since he still comes up empty sometimes, but you have to at least consider his upside at under 4K.
