High Value PG

Austin Rivers-Los Angeles Clippers (6,000): Rivers’ name has come up in recent trade rumors with the Knicks, but he has continued to produce solid stat lines while Chris Paul has been sidelined. In each of his last six games, Rivers hasher 25 fantasy points. During that run, his best game was against Atlanta when he had 27-4-6 for 41.5 fantasy points on Monday. The next night, he had 20-2-3 for 30 fantasy points against the Sixers. Given his current usage and the fact that he has scored 20 points in three of his last four, Rivers is actually a low-risk play tonight even against the Warriors.∗∗

Jameer Nelson-Denver Nuggets (5,300): Nelson looks lined up to get another start against the Suns tonight since Emmanuel Mudiay didn’t travel with the Nuggets. On Thursday, Nelson had a very impressive 13-4-9 with two steals and a block for 37 fantasy points. He has over 26 fantasy points in five of his last nine games, and he should be able to take advantage of a good matchup in Phoenix for another solid stat line.

Darren Collison-Sacramento Kings (4,900): After a slow start and a struggle for much of the season, Collison has gotten things going on the Kings current trip. He had a huge game of 23-3-5 with a pair of steals on Wednesday against the Cavs when he totaled 40.25 fantasy points. He followed that big game up with another last night totaling 45 fantasy points on 26-4-5 while logging a massive 46 minutes against the Pacers. Fatigue could clearly be a factor as the Kings try to turn around and play the Hornets on the road tonight, but Collison’s current form makes him worth a look at under 5K.∗∗∗

Spencer Dinwiddie-Brooklyn Nets (3,500): The Nets have so many injuries that they’ve been forced to start  Spencer Dinwiddie the last few games. The good news for them and his potential investors is that he has played well and  scored in double-digits in three straight after last night’s 10-1-1. He has over 22 fantasy points in two of hi last three three games  and is likely set up for 30+ minutes tonight against Minnesota. If you need a super-cheap guard, he’s the best ultra-cheap play tonight.
