High Salary PF

Karl-Anthony Towns-Minnesota Timberwolves (10,900): Towns’ price continues to rise as the Wolves’ center puts up huge numbers on a nightly basis. He has at least 58 fantasy points in four of his last five games and seven of his last ten. On Saturday, he went off again as he faced the Nets totaling 66.25 fantasy points on 37-13-1 with four blocks in just 36 minutes. Tonight, he gets another good matchup against the Magic as the Timberwolves look to build off their nice win on Saturday. Towns will set you back a big chunk of your salary cap, but he’s likely to be worth it in this matchup if the game stays close.

Serge Ibaka-Orlando Magic (6,000): Ibaka bounced back from a no-show in Boston to post 23.25 fantasy points against the Raptors last night on 12-7-1 with a block. He has been wildly inconsistent lately with over 30 fantasy points in four of his last 11 but under 25 fantasy points in four of his last five.

James Johnson-Miami Heat (5,800):  Johnson’s scoring touch abandoned him for a few weeks and he was held under 22 fantasy points in four straight, but he has bounced back in his last two though with 6-9-9 for 33.25 fantasy points while filling in for Hassan Whiteside in Chicago last Friday. On Saturday, Whiteside returned but Johnson still produced a very nice stat line with 18-8-5 for 41.5 fantasy points against the Pistons. Against the Nets, he should be able to go off tonight, but it is worth noting that he only had 8-2-0 and 13.5 fantasy points against Brooklyn last week. He isn’t a lock to go off tonight, but there is lots of upside to consider.∗∗
