The 100 season 4 premiere: Watch online

The CW’s hit series The 100 returns with its season premiere on Feb. 1, and here is how you can watch it online.

For the first three seasons, we’ve seen different types of conflict take place. At first, there was human against human conflict. There was conflict between the 100 delinquents sent to Earth to verify its habitability. Additionally, conflict existed between them and the Grounders. The Grounders were on the planet first, and the arrival of the 100 didn’t sit well with them. Despite bad first impressions, we eventually witnessed a partnership develop between the two factions. It was more of a reluctant relationship, but it got the job done against the Reapers and the Mount Weather regime.

Another conflict that we saw was human against computer. This specifically refers to season 3 where A.L.I.E. tried to take control of all sentient life. The evil A.I.’s would have been successful if it wasn’t for the valiant efforts of Clarke. The help she receives from Raven, Abigail and the spirit of Lexa during this ordeal proved to be more than valuable against A.L.I.E.

Unfortunately, before her demise, A.L.I.E. gave Clarke a dark warning and revelation about the state of the planet. Apparently, there are nuclear power plants that are releasing radiation slowly across the Earth. As a result, the entire planet’s population will perish within six months. Clearly, this didn’t stop Clarke from killing the A.I., but it brings us to the newest conflict: the environment.

This takes us into the fourth season and a lot is bound to take place in the first episode. Here is the description of the season premiere, “Echoes,” according to TV Guide:

"In the fourth-season premiere, Clarke and her friends struggle with how to proceed after the fate of the world is revealed."
