Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal broke Cleveland Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert’s ankles and put a shot down right over him.

One of the emerging stories in the NBA as the latter half of the season hits it’s stride is the emergence of the Washington Wizards. The team got off to a slow start but has caught fire and is rising up the standings in the Eastern Conference. With a big test against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night, Bradley Beal was putting on a show.

With the two teams engaged in a battle throughout the game, Beal absolutely ended Iman Shumpert. As the latter tried to guard Beal, he lost his footing and hit the ground as Beal shook him off. To make things even worse for Shumpert, Beal drained the shot to the excitement of the crowd.

This was absolutely filthy by Beal.

Shumpert isn’t the easiest guy to shake off but he was of no issue to the Wizards’ shooting guard. With Washington trying to make a statement in Cleveland, Beal showed off the talent that the Wizards have in their back court.

There aren’t many highlights that are better than a player breaking their ankles and hitting the deck. Sometimes it’s brutal and Shumpert can now join the list of players in the league that have hit the ground. Unfortunately for him, this was a game on national television and social media was all over it from the beginning.
