Cal Golden Bears

Last week: 18-7 (9-4 Pac-12)
Last rank: 3

The Golden Bears have cooled off a bit after their blistering run over the last few weeks. While they lost to Arizona, the Golden Bears remain in prime position to reach the NCAA Tournament. They will need to lock it up by getting key wins and on the schedule upcoming, there’s two that remain very key. After they face northern California rival Stanford, they travel to Oregon and then get Utah and Colorado to end the season, while that may not seem like much, winning three out of the final five would push Cal to 20 wins and a NCAA bid.

UCLA Bruins

Last week: 23-3 (10-3 Pac-12)
Last rank: 4

Lonzo Ball? Pretty fun to watch.

UCLA’s furious comeback against Oregon this past week? That was pretty fun as well. UCLA got their first win over a ranked opponent, the next task is defeating USC who’s beat them four straight times. A win by the Bruins keeps them in the conference race as they are only two games back of conference-leading Arizona. Speaking of Arizona, the Bruins will get their shot at the Wildcats next week. A win over the Trojans would set up a possible game to decide the Pac-12 title between UCLA and Arizona.
