4. Guard

When the Dolphins offensive line was healthy and rolling, they were one of the tougher teams in the league to defend. However, that did not happen long enough for them to be taken seriously. Injuries were a key factor to the Dolphins season, and it should have them looking to attack the interior in free agency.

Jermon Bushrod is a free agent, and as the weak link of the unit, he may not be back in Miami next season. Branden Albert, a left tackle could be cut this season as inconsistencies and injuries have hurt his tenure in Miami. He would easily be replaced by Laremy Tunsil, a first round pick of a year ago. However, Tunsil started at guard most of last season. With Bushrod and Tunsil potentially out of the mix, guard becomes a glaring hole on the roster.

Ron Leary would be a great fit in Miami, and with the money saved from Albert, Leary could be given a contract he deserves. He would be the perfect fit, and would really amplify the line. Chris Chester and Luke Joeckel are some cheaper, but potentially effective moves that could fill in at the guard position as well. The Dolphins may also draft a guard, but not until one of the middle rounds.
