Will Magic Johnson save or destroy the Los Angeles Lakers?
By Mark Carman
Times are a changing for the Los Angeles Lakers in a major front office house cleaning. Magic Johnson is in as the Lakers new President of Basketball Operations. Carm and Kayla discuss whether Magic can bring back the pride of the Lakers.
Tom Brady is still looking for his lost Super Bowl jersey and word on the street is that it is worth 500,000. Wow. Can we find a solution for whoever stole the jersey to actually get paid large amounts of dollar for taking the dirty risk, or should the jersey just be returned with an apology note?
The Chicago Cubs are taking video suggestions from their fans to give out the World Series rings to the Cubs on opening day. Only 20 will be chosen, and Carm has a request for Kayla to help him be one of the fans who gets to do it. St. Louis Cardinals fan Kayla isn’t too helpful.
Kayla does want to support Carm in his dating life and offers to help him be a contestant on The Bachelorette. There are a lot of questions to answer and it seems that Carm has some, but not all of the answers.
In our winners and losers section both Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant make the cut, but the star of the NBA All-Star game is Jarrius ‘JJ’ Robertson who was diagnosed with chronic liver disease biliary astresia and had to receive an emergency liver transplant. After suffering through multiple surgeries since, JJ is now preparing for his second liver transplant and has turned to GoFundMe in hopes to raise the funds. There is no bigger winner going than Jarrius.
