3. The Oklahoma City Thunder

Russell Westbrook finally got what he needed in Oklahoma City: help.

Right before the deadline, the Bulls decided to self-implode and traded away Doug McDermott and Taj Gibson to the Thunder. Defense and shooting should help Westbrook and the Thunder as they push into the playoffs.

The Thunder did have to give up their backup point guard in the exchange, though. Cameron Payne is now a member of the Bulls and the Thunder are left with a question mark at the backup point guard position. Semaj Christon will assume the backup role and he is an unproven rookie who will have to hold down the fort while Westbrook takes his rest.

One option at point guard for the Thunder is Deron Williams. Williams will give the Thunder the backup point guard needed for success down the stretch. Westbrook will take a rest on the bench without the offense going into complete chaos on the floor. Hopefully, the Thunder can solve their backup point guard problem.
