17. Ndamukong Suh – $104,215,157

A star at the University of Nebraska, Ndamukong Suh would be drafted with the No. 2 pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. Once drafted, the Detroit Lions wasted no time locking him up to a long-term deal, giving the big defensive tackle a five-year, $65.39 million contract. Suh would go on to be named the Defensive Rookie of the Year that first season, which would be a precursor to him becoming one of the best in the league at his position.

Once his team was up in Detroit, Suh left the Lions, taking his talents to South Beach to play for the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins gave Suh an extraordinarily huge deal, as he signed a six-year, $114.375 million contract with the team. Of that money, over $59 million of it was guaranteed, making Suh and his family quite comfortable for the rest of their lives.

The deal with Miami will take Suh to the 2021 season, where he is likely go get another decent sized contract. A five-time Pro Bowler, Suh has been named a First Team All-Pro on four different occasions, though he has become more known for his wacky antics on the field. Suh has had his fair share of fines during his career, which takes a chunk out of his career earnings, but at 30 years old, it is fair to say Suh has cashed in on his talent in a major way.
