Being an NBA coach is a hard gig. With high expectations from fans and the front office, a new coach is supposed to live up to the hype.

NBA coaches have a lot of expectations when they are first hired. Making sure the team is ready to play, creating game plans to help the team succeed, making the rotations. There are more than a handful of responsibilities coaches must handle in addition to the added pressure of winning playoff games.

Many coaches end up in the hot seat during the season after a poor performance during the season. These are five coaches who have struggled at times this year and may need to make a strong statement in the next few weeks in order to keep their jobs.
