2017 NFL Mock Draft: Bears tap Deshaun Watson

The Atlanta Falcons had an incredible 2016 season, making it all the way to represent the NFC in Super Bowl LI. Throughout most of the Super Bowl, it looked like Matt Ryan would win his first ring, though they left the door open for Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. The Pats erased a 25-point deficit in the second half, and when all was said and done, the Falcons let a golden opportunity slip through their fingers.
As the team looks towards 2017, they have to be happy with the state of the franchise. It looks like Ryan is starting to come into his prime, and after a year that saw him through for nearly 5,000 en-route to his first MVP Award, the team is loaded on offense. They do need help on the defensive side of the ball, and bringing in a cornerback to help in teh defensive secondary has to be a priority this April.
Teez Tabor of the Florida Gators is a fantastic cornerback prospect, one who garnered a ton of respect playing in a very deep SEC in college. Tabor and Quincy Wilson were able to lead the Gators to the SEC Championship despite the fact that the team was very anemic on offense. He is going to be a very good corner at the next level, and as the Falcons showed last season, they need help in stopping the pass against elite quarterbacks.
