Day 4 of the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine was an exciting one. Here is how the wide receivers did in the bench press.
Friday, Mar. 3 was the fourth day of the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. This was the only day where all position groups will be at the combine. The defensive backs arrived today, while the special teams players, the offensive linemen, and the running backs did on-field workouts.
It was just the Day 1 arrivals that put up measurables on Friday. Day 4 was the day that the wide receivers got to pump some iron with the bench press.  While the bench press isn’t overly important for some vertical threat wide receivers, it is important to showcase strength for possession wide receivers.
