Kyle Busch won the Rinnai 250 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Check out the NASCAR XFINITY Series Standings after the second race of the 2017 season.

No driver led at the end of more than one stage during the Rinnai 250 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday. The XFINITY Series race featured many drivers from the top circuit of NASCAR. One of those drivers, Kyle Busch, came away with his first XFINITY Series win of the season and his 87th XFINITY Series career win.

Monster Energy Cup Series drivers who have competed there for six or more years are limited to 10 XFINITY Series races during the season and are ineligible for the XFINITY Series playoffs. Nonetheless, three full-time Monster Energy drivers won each stage and took home the checkered flag.

Brad Keselowski won Stage One while Kevin Harvick earned the Stage Two victory. On the final lap Keselowski tried to pass to earn the victory. However, Busch held him off to earn the win.

Saturday’s race opened up the two-race day at Atlanta before the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race followed after. Atlanta has followed this format for a few years now. Yet most tracks who host the top three circuits have the races over a three-day period.

Cup Series drivers dominated at Atlanta on Saturday. It gave them additional practice before their Cup Series on Sunday afternoon. The XFINITY Series heads to Las Vegas next weekend as drivers continue to get used to racing. Saturday’s race at Atlanta saw fewer drivers make silly mental mistakes than at Daytona.
