Julius Peppers has been an incredible pass rusher during his NFL career, and on Monday, he stated he would like to extend that career another year.

For years, Julius Peppers has roamed NFL fields looking for quarterbacks to snack on. On Monday, Peppers made it known he plans to continue doing just that, as he vowed to return for his 16th NFL season. Peppers will be a free agent this week, and at 37-years old, he is likely coming back for a chance at a ring, not so much for the money.

Torrey Smith’s two-year stint in San Francisco has come to an end, as the 28-year old wide receiver will be released by the team. Smith came to the 49ers with much fanfare, but managed only 930 yards receiving in his two seasons with the team. The lack of production could have been due to the lack of a quarterback, which has been a position of weakness for the team the entire time Smith was in San Fran.

Mike Glennon is a quarterback who is going to get paid, and he was even offered a ton of money to be a backup. Glennon was offered the richest contract of any backup quarterback in the league, according to the Tampa Bay Times, though he will test the free agent market in hopes to be a starting quarterback. The signal-caller is one of the more sought-after free agents this offseason, and could wind up making Brock Osweiler-type money before it is all said and done.

For the past four season, Dan Carpenter has been the man kicking the ball for the Buffalo Bills. However, after two sub-par seasons that saw him miss 29 kicks between extra points and field goals, the team decided to release him on Monday. The Bills head into the 2017 with a brand new head coach, so do not be surprised if you see a few more moves before the team heads to the 2017 NFL Draft.

Staying with the NFL Draft, the NFL Scouting Combine came to an end on Sunday, and plenty of players upped their stock during the event. Myles Garrett cemented his spot as the best prospect in the draft, and players like Christian McCaffrey and John Ross really turned heads with their physical abilities. Players will now look towards their Pro Day, where they will get another shot to show scouts they belong in the NFL.
