Here is the updated WrestleMania 33 card following the March 7 edition of SmackDown Live & 205 Live.

While the majority of the set matches for WrestleMania 33 involve RAW superstars, we finally got some clarity on who will be fighting from the blue and purple brands.

Last week, it seemed that AJ Styles would be the clear number one contender for the WWE Championship, but then Randy Orton went and quite literally burned the whole plan to the ground. On SmackDown Live, AJ Styles faced Randy Orton for the right to face Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania. Naturally, this upset Styles, who (to be fair) did jump through all the hoops set before him after Orton relinquished the title shot he earned by winning the Royal Rumble Match. Once the match was settled, Orton was the man standing with his arm raised, and cemented his place in the WWE Championship match against Bray Wyatt.

Daniel Bryan cleared up some confusion about the SmackDown Live Women’s Championship, while simultaneously making it even more confusing. He told the WWE Universe that Alexa Bliss will defend her SmackDown Live Women’s Championship against every available woman on the blue brand. As far we know currently, Becky Lynch, Mickie James, and Natalya are going to be involved, but there are a few more women that we are yet to be confirmed will be in this match, such as Carmella, Naomi (if healthy), and the ever elusive Eva Marie.

In a backstage segment, Mojo Rawley declared himself as the first entrant in the fourth annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Rawley said he wanted to have himself a WrestleMania moment, after watching his good friend and former tag team partner Zach Ryder get his last year. Rawley was approached by Dolph Ziggler, who made it clear that Rawley would have to get through him in order to win the Battle Royal. Well, him, and many others, including Apollo Crews, who announced his entrance in the match during Talking Smack.

Two people not yet on the card, but impossible to imagine the show being put on without them are John Cena and The Miz, who look like they are tuning up for a mixed-tag match which would partner Cena with Nikki Bella, and Miz and his wife Maryse. Cena and Nikki fought Carmella and James Ellsworth on SmackDown Live, and Cena’s chemistry with his longtime girlfriend was off the charts. It’ll be interesting to see if a match against a team more on their skill level (and chemistry level) does come to fruition.

After SmackDown Live went off the air, AJ Styles was seen screaming at Shane McMahon about losing the opportunity to face Bray Wyatt that he technically locked up last week by beating Luke Harper. Styles is a name that will be on the WrestleMania card, but is Shane McMahon? Obviously, these guys are starting to get bad blood, including during Styles’ match last week against Harper, when Shane came down to the ring after Styles seemingly won via pinfall, but the referee didn’t realize Harper’s leg was under the rope. McMahon restarted the match, and even though Styles ended up winning for real with his second pinfall, he felt disrespected by McMahon for making him work extra hard.

The Intercontinental Championship will also most likely be on the card, and even though Curt Hawkins wants a piece of Dean Ambrose, Ambrose pays him no mind, as his sights seem to be set on Baron Corbin. The two of them have been playing cat and mouse for the last few weeks, since Ambrose eliminated Corbin from the Battle Royal for the Number One Contender. This week’s episode of SmackDown Live featured Corbin lowering a forklift over Ambrose’s beaten body, so these two obviously have a solid foundation of a feud that keeps them on the radar for possible WrestleMania matches.

It’s been a few weeks since we’ve seen the SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions in action, but last week during Talking Smack, American Alpha let it be known that the Usos are in their crosshairs. We should get to see the champs next week, hopefully in a match, since the Tag Team Division has been all but forgotten on the SmackDown Live broadcasts.

During 205 Live, Austin Aires challenged Neville to a fight, only for Neville to reject Aires offer. Aires ended up fighting, and beating, Tony Nese, but it’s obvious Aires’ goal is to be Cruiserweight Champion, and he still has time to lock down that opportunity before the big show.

We will update the development of these storylines, and more as we get closer to WrestleMania.
