WWE WrestleMania 33: Alexa Bliss will defend title vs ‘every available’ woman on SmackDown
Alexa Bliss will have her work cut out for her at WWE WrestleMania 33 as she’ll be facing ‘every available woman on the roster’ in Orlando
With a mere 26 days remaining until WWE WrestleMania 33, there is shockingly little that fans know about the match card. Things are starting to take shape, sure. However, there were plenty of questions going into RAW on Monday and then SmackDown Live on Tuesday night. At least one of those questions was answered on Tuesday, along with another match being added to the card.
Midway through the show, SmackDown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss was in the ring with Mickie James and the former was discussing who she’d be facing at WWE WrestleMania 33. In the process, she proclaimed that she was the best wrestler in the SmackDown locker room and that no one stood a chance.
Becky Lynch and Natalya both came out to contest this and challenge for the belt. However, James assumed that it was she who would be getting the shot at the belt. Bliss, in essence, shot them all down. That wasn’t going to fly, though, and Daniel Bryan came out and came up with a solution. If Bliss is the best, then she needs to prove it.
Subsequently, Bryan said that Bliss will be facing “every available woman on the SmackDown roster” to defend her title at WWE WrestleMania 33:
The wording as the match was made is quite curious as it is both exceptionally vague and open-ended. That’s probably the point, but it means we don’t actually know exactly who Alexa Bliss will put the belt on the line against.

That being said, we can reasonably assume that Bliss will at least be up against the three women that were in the ring with her at the time of the announcement: James, Lynch and Nattie. Whether or not someone else will be added remains to be seen. Regardless, we have another match for WWE WrestleMania 33—even if we aren’t completely sure of what’s going on.
