Barcelona beat Paris Saint-Germain 6-1 at the Nou Camp on Wednesday, March 8. Here are all the highlights from the match.

Barcelona knew they needed to start fast to overcome their 4-0 first leg deficit to PSG, but not even Luis Enrique could have expected his side to start this fast.

Barca, after a frantic opening, took the lead in the third minute, when Luis Suarez turned in a header from close range after the PSG defense failed to defend what should have been a bad Rafinha cross.

The Blaugrana doubled their lead in the 40th minute thanks to some more questionable PSG defending. This time, Kevin Trapp and Marquinhos combined to deflect a hopeful Andres Iniesta backheel into their own net.

PSG were clearly rattled by the intensity at which Barca were playing, and when the home side scored a third in the first five minutes of the second half — Lionel Messi scored from the spot after Thomas Meunier fell over and then tripped Neymar in the box — a fourth felt like only a matter of time.

Barca then shot themselves in the foot. Layvin Kurzawa knocked down a long free-kick into the path of Edinson Cavani, who finished powerfully into the roof of the net to end any real hope of a Barca comeback.

The energy left Barca, and the Nou Camp, and while the team continued to get forward, the belief was gone. Then Neymar planted a wonderful free-kick into the top left corner, and all did not seem so completely lost.

Still, the spark of the first 50 minutes was gone, and Barca seemed to have accepted their fate. When Suarez was bundled over in the area in 90th minute, allowing Neymar to convert from the spot and level the aggregate score at 5-5, it was almost impossible to know what to feel. Excitement, hope, confusion, disbelief. All of the above.

Barca threw everyone forward in the five minutes of stoppage and, with almost the last kick of the match, Sergi Roberto, of all people, finished past Trapp to put Barcelona into the quarterfinals.
