Adrian Peterson will have a new home for the 2017 NFL season, and he has begun to shrink his wish list to a handful of teams.

Tuesday began the period where teams can legally tamper with free agents, and there were certainly a lot of rumors flying around. One name that is certain to be a big one this free agency period is Adrian Peterson, who was recently released by the Minnesota Vikings. Peterson has begun to put together a wish list of teams he would like to play for next season, and the Oakland Raiders and Seattle Seahawks appear to have made the cut.

Another team on Peterson’s wish list is the New England Patriots, though they were in the news for another reason on Tuesday. It appears the Cleveland Browns are willing to part ways with the No. 12 overall pick in April’s draft for Jimmy Garoppolo, who is one of the more coveted quarterbacks in the league. Jimmy G has played well in limited time with the Pats, and the Browns have not had a legitimate quarterback since Bernie Kosar.

The Houston Texans are going to have to pay a ton of money to A.J. Bouye if they hope to retain him for the 2017 NFL season. Bouye burst onto the scene late last season, and showed he could be a shutdown corner in the playoffs. There are a bunch of teams looking for his services, and the odds are he could make upwards of $13 million per season this free agency period.

Staying in the AFC South, the Indianapolis Colts locked up one of their offensive weapons on Tuesday. The Colts agreed to a deal with tight end Jack Doyle, who proved to be one of Andrew Luck’s more reliable targets during the 2016 NFL season. Doyle’s deal will keep him in Indy for the next four years, and will ensure the Colts will have a pass-catching tight end for the foreseeable future.

Finally, the Arizona Cardinals signed a tight end of their own on Tuesday. The Cards agreed to a deal with Jermaine Gresham, as they look to return to the playoffs after a one-year hiatus in 2016. Quarterback Carson Palmer has already signed on for at least one more season, and with Gresham coming back, the passing game should be a strength for the team once again in 2017.
