Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving knows that the world is flat and that is why he is able to pull a spin move off in traffic of this magnitude.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are pulverizing the Central Division rival Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night. Not only did the Cavaliers make over 75 percent of their three-pointers in the first half, but point guard Kyrie Irving showed why he is the best ball handler in the game.

Initiating a fast break, Irving pulls off the flashiest spin move you’ll ever see in traffic between two Pistons defenders. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Reggie Jackson had no hope of stopping that sweet display of ball possession by Irving.

Irving was able to do that spin move almost entirely because he lives on a different planet than everybody else — a flat one. The rules of gravity don’t apply in his world. People fall off the edge of the Earth all the time if they don’t watch their step. That’s why he has taken ball-handling to heart.

This spin move is a cornerstone in the Flat Earth Truther Movement with Irving as its spokesman for scientific takeover. Why believe in facts when you can pull off a spin move that silky in a professional basketball game? Irving’s ball-handling skills are changing everything.

While Cleveland is still the top dog in the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics are a bit too close in the standings for comfort. Handling a playoff-caliber team in rival Detroit at home is one way to keep the Celtics or the Washington Wizards off the Cavaliers’ tails.

Cleveland is at its best when it has Irving taking over the bulk of the scoring with small forward LeBron James acting as the facilitator on the outside. This game is a perfect illustration of why Cleveland should cake walk to the NBA Finals this June.
