Josh Reynolds

Wide Receiver, Texas A&M

Is it a Pittsburgh Steelers draft if they do not take a wide receiver? The team saw a hole in their roster last season and it was an outside player across from Antonio Brown. The obvious fix for that is Martavis Bryant. However, given the past issues with Bryant, they cannot fully bet on him being back. The Steelers are great at developing receivers, and while Reynolds is raw, he could certainly be molded into a deep outside threat. He is tall at 6’4” and has deep speed. He did not show a route tree, but he seems to have good footwork to be another potential late round gem in Pittsburgh.

Michael Roberts

Tight End, Toledo

The Steelers signed Ladarius Green last season and got next to nothing out of him. The team has Xavier Grimble, Jesse James and David Johnson, but that does not mean they cannot try to improve on that. Roberts is tall and long and can a red zone threat. He has great presence in the passing game, and can beat out Xavier Grimble, who had an impact in 2016.

Blair Brown

Linebacker, Ohio

Brown is another undersized linebacker. They can bring him into camp and he can compete with Riley, Matakevich, Fort and Johnson for the last couple of roster spots. Special teams play will be in mind with this pick.
