Kawhi Leonard soars forever on this poster dunk (Video)

San Antonio Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard flies throw the air forever to throw down this slick, one-handed jam against the Portland Trail Blazers.
The San Antonio Spurs are so hot right now and small forward Kawhi Leonard is playing at an MVP level. San Antonio has really taken flight in the last few weeks, but not to the degree that Leonard does on this unbelievable one-handed jam.
Leonard leaves his feet and changes direction mid-air to evade the Portland Trail Blazers in the paint. This powerful slam got everybody at the AT&T Center up and out of their seats.
There was way too much enthusiasm on that dunk from a typical Leonard play. The good San Antonio soldier that is Leonard rarely takes a step out of line, or really says anything at all. What may have triggered this monstrous throw down was previous sideline scuffle with Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich.
Sometimes, two of the very best at what they do can butt heads. It definitely was the case earlier on the San Antonio bench, but clearly both parties got over it. Popovich went back to being the best coach in the NBA. Leonard continues his push for NBA MVP.
In a season with triple-doubles and beardsmen raining threes, it has been a soft-spoken guy in cornrows that has been the best player on the best basketball team. San Antonio shouldn’t be pushing for the best record in basketball, not after Tim Duncan retired in July.

However, that is the reality of Spurs basketball in 2017. Anybody that doubted Leonard could take his game to the next level as a franchise superstar didn’t do their homework. Down the stretch, Leonard is putting together a highlight reel worthy of MVP consideration.
