USA face Honduras at Avaya Stadium in San Jose, California on Friday, March 24. Here’s all the info you need to watch this massive World Cup Qualifier.

After losing their first two matches — to Mexico and Costa Rica — of the final round of CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying, the USMNT sit dead last in the Hexagonal. That makes the match against Honduras on Friday a must-win.

Injuries to key players have made the lineup selection process for U.S. head coach Bruce Arena very complicated. Among the questions he must answer are: who starts up top with Jozy Altidore? Is Clint Dempsey healthy enough to play a full match? Who on Earth will play at the outside back positions?

The USMNT will be without Fabian Johnson, Bobby Wood, DeAndre Yedlin and Brad Guzan. A few things need to happen for the U.S. to be successful on Friday: Jozy Altidore needs to be at his best; Christian Pulisic needs to have a massive impact on the outcome; the back line needs to be steady and avoid any calamitous mistakes (I’m looking at you, John Brooks). Anything less than three points is unacceptable for the USMNT.

Honduras lost to Panama and defeated Trinidad in their first two games of the Hexagonal, leaving them in fourth place. After facing a U.S. squad that must win on Friday, they have the pleasure of hosting hexagonal leaders Costa Rica on Tuesday. While not quite as treacherous as the U.S.’s, Honduras’ road to the 2018 World Cup is no stroll in the park.

The USMNT must score goals so expect a ton of pressure and pressing from them. Honduras would love to steal a point on the road as they try to hang around the top three in the Hex. Things of interest to keep track of: Pulisic’s position, who starts alongside Michael Bradley at center mid and how much Clint Dempsey plays.
