Who stars in Fate of the Furious?

The Fate of the Furious is set to hit theaters on April 14, 2017 — but who stars in this eighth installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise?

The Fate of the Furious is one of the most anticipated films of the season, and is the eighth installment of the ever popular Fast and the Furious movie series. This installment, sometimes called Fast 8, boasts an all-star lineup unlike anything previous installments have seen before.

First, of course, is Dwayne Johnson, better known as The Rock, who plays the former enemy turned ally Hobbs. In one of the first trailers for the movie, Hobbs was seen steering a torpedo. A TORPEDO!

Next up is Vin Diesel, who has been in every installment of the film series as Dominic Toretto, who has been a “good guy” up until this point but promises to turn evil this time around. He’s been influenced by Cipher, played by Charlize Theron, to abandon his family. And what’s more, Cipher can control every car in the greater New York City area with just a flick of a button. (We’re not sure if that’s how it really works, but okay.)

Of course, who gets affected by Dominic’s sinister turn in Fate of the Furious is none other than Letty Ortiz — played by Michelle Rodriguez — who is Dominic’s wife (or, perhaps, soon-to-be ex-wife, since he seems to be a little too affectionate with Cipher to begin with).
