In the 77th minute, Leon Goretzka set up Thilo Kehrer inside the box. The 20-year-old defender scored his first career goal on a perfectly struck the ball to level the score. The draw dropped Dortmund to fourth in the table. After beating Hertha Berlin on Friday, Hoffenheim are a point ahead of Dortmund in the standings.
Hamburg faced Koln in matchday 26. Markus Gisdol’s side opened the scoring when United States international Bobby Wood set up Nicolai Muller. Hamburg’s lead would last all of 12 minutes when Milos Jojic headed home across from Christian Clemens. In injury time, Koln keeper Timo Horn made a pair of fantastic saves before Lewis Holtby was able to find the back of the net to give Hamburg 2-1 win.
