Ezekiel Elliott wrote up an Instagram post, paying homage to his former Cowboys teammate, Tony Romo.
Ezekiel Elliot might be full of comedy and endless on-field fun, but he casted that aside to acknowledge the news on Tony Romo. Surrounded by ongoing rumors in the offseason, Romo has officially decided to hang up his cleats for newer pastures. Elliott, Romo’s wingman for one game in 2016, took Romo’s situation to heart, mustering up a thank you note to his former teammate.
Though Romo saw most of his time be limited to the sideline, he never backed away from coaching the young guns. Aside from Zeke, Romo also concentrated on Dak Prescott, one of two components to Dallas’s future. And with the rookies ruling on offense, Romo instantly knew that there’s no longer a space for him on the roster. Still, Zeke reached out to Romo, thanking him as a coach and as one of the worst DJs.
Possibly one of the better transitions to the NFL, Zeke has managed to be one of the most mature players entering their first year. Despite dawning his torso and overall physique, he has collaborated very well with former Mississippi State standout, Dak Prescott. Zeke might have been involved with police in February, but his demeanor as a whole is a refreshing image change for NFL rookies.

Of course, Elliott will go through some separation anxiety, but he’ll no longer be tormented by Romo’s playlist. Now a part of NFL on CBS, Romo can now analyze one of his favorite running backs in the league. It’s just a matter of time before Romo interviews Zeke in makeshift pottery.
