Leicester face Sunderland at King Power Stadium on Tuesday, April 4. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
After an incredible streak, Leicester are in the middle of the table. The same can not be said for Sunderland. David Moyes’ squad sit at the bottom of the Premier League table. Unless the Black Cats are able to go on a winning streak, they’ll be relegated to the Championship.
Leicester manager Craig Shakespeare continues to have the defending champions playing like they did a season ago. Under Shakespeare, Leicester have not lost a game. Wilfred Ndidi opened the scoring for the defending champions with a goal of the week candidate. The 20-year-old Nigerian scored a brilliant goal from outside of the box. Two minutes into the second half, Jamie Vardy scored another beautiful goal for the Tigers, who won 2-0.
Sunderland faced Watford on Saturday. Watford were all over the Black Cats in the first half, but couldn’t find the back of the net. If not for keeper Jordan Pickford, the Black Cats could have been blown out in the first half. In the 59th minute, Watford finally found the back of the net. Watford were awarded a corner and after the initial head struck the crossbar, the ball was headed over to Miguel Britos who got up over the defender and headed home the game-winning goal.
