Here’s when you can head down to Tuscaloosa, Alabama for The Alabama Crimson Tide spring game.

It’s spring down south and that means it’s time for some college football spring ball. Every major football program in the SEC will be holding their allotted 15 spring practices, capping them off with a great spring game. Of course, the juggernaut Alabama Crimson Tide will have their spring game.

Every April, Alabama will host its annual A-Day spring game at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa. Crimson Tide fans are rabid, so it’s no doubt going to be an exciting time in Tuscaloosa this April. So when is A-Day 2017?

A-Day will be on Saturday, April 22. Kickoff from Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa will be at 3:00 p.m. ET. ESPN will wisely broadcast this much-anticipated intra-squad scrimmage among the Crimson Tide.

Alabama has won the SEC the last three seasons, being the only Power 5 football program to reach the College Football Playoff all three years in its existence. Last season, Alabama went undefeated during the regular season at 12-0 (8-0), crushing every SEC team in its path. The Crimson Tide throttled the Washington Huskies in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta before losing on the last second to the Clemson Tigers in the National Championship.

One would have to believe that Alabama would be the favorite to win the SEC this year. Though the Crimson Tide may not end up being the favorite to win the national title, anything less than a top-10 finish for this team would be unacceptable.

Nick Saban’s program faces a tough slate of games this fall. The Crimson Tide have to play ACC power Florida State at brand-new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta for their opening game in the Chick-Fil-A kickoff. Though most of their big SEC games will be in Tuscaloosa, Alabama will have to play Texas A&M in College Station and Auburn down on The Plains.
