The Anaheim Ducks and Calgary Flames will square off in Game 2 of their first round series on Saturday. Here’s how you can watch via live stream.

Thursday night saw an exciting matchup between the Anaheim Ducks and Calgary Flames. It was a back and forth battle until Jakob Silfverberg’s third period goal wound up being the game winner. The two sides fought hard all game long and the last minute was quite frantic. Ryan Kesler deliberately covered the puck, taking a penalty in the process, but it worked.

The Flames had their chances to tie the game, but failed. These chances included two power plays, including a five on three. Calgary has never done well at Anaheim and their demons there haunted them in Game 1. At even strength, the Flames were the better team. However, they failed to execute on special teams and couldn’t take advantage when given the opportunity. The Flames can take some positive things from Game 1, but better execution will be key for them winning in Game 2.

On the other side of the ice, the Ducks pulled off a huge win. They didn’t play their best game, but unlike Calgary, Anaheim found ways to get things done. John Gibson was outstanding in goal, fighting off a ton of chances in the game’s waning minutes. Ryan Getzlaf played one of the finest games of his illustrious career with a goal and an assist. He was all over the ice and could have had much more than two points.
