Here’s all the information you need to know for the Louisville Cardinals football Spring Game on Saturday afternoon.

Defending Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson will take the field on Saturday when the Louisville Cardinals host their annual football Spring Game on Saturday afternoon.

Jackson piled up over 5,000 total yards and 51 touchdowns as a sophomore to win the first Heisman Trophy in Louisville history. The Cardinals went 9-4 a year ago and were in playoff position early in the season thanks to Jackson, but will need to bounce back from a late fade.

With such a dynamic signal caller back under center, Louisville will enter 2017 with expectations of competing for an ACC title and more. Even so, the Cardinals have some concerns ahead of the season, including a revamped offensive line and a defense that has a lot of production to replace under new coordinator Peter Sirmon.

Bobby Petrino is changing things up from previous Spring Games by balancing out the rosters rather than having the first string take on the second string. Beyond Jackson, Louisville will have a number of intriguing players to watch on Saturday ahead of what could be one of the best seasons in school history.

The Spring Game could help determine Louisville’s starters at center, left guard and linebacker, while Jackson will look to develop chemistry with a new group of wide receivers. Louisville’s depth at running back has also been decimated this spring due to injuries, meaning wide receiver Reggie Bonnafon will get first-team snaps in the backfield on Saturday.
