Here’s how to watch Stanford football’s annual Cardinal and White Spring Game online.

The Stanford Cardinal will kickoff the 2017 season by hosting its annual football Spring Game on Saturday afternoon at Cagan Stadium.

Stanford continued its remarkable consistency under head coach David Shaw with a 10-3 campaign in 2016 despite early blowout losses to Washington and Washington State. The Cardinal closed the season with a six-game winning streak including a Sun Bowl victory over North Carolina, and should enter 2017 just behind Washington and USC as Pac-12 favorites.

While there’s enough returning talent for Stanford to open the season ranked in the initial AP Poll, the Cardinal will have to replace some key playmakers. Record-breaking running back Christian McCaffrey is off to the NFL, and Stanford will want to see some improvement out of the offensive line and wide receivers.

The biggest storyline to watch by far on Saturday will be the quarterback battle, which likely won’t be decided until later this summer. With Keller Chryst out due to a knee injury following a successful stretch to end 2016, Ryan Burns and K.J. Costello figure to start Saturday’s game on opposing teams.

Burns struggled mightily in the first half of last year before being benched and Costello has yet to appear in a game as a redshirt freshman, so Stanford will hope at least one of the signal callers can turn in a strong showing on Saturday. Stanford’s Spring Game is slated to begin at 4:00 p.m. Eastern on the Pac-12 Network, with full streaming details available below.

The Cardinal face an intimidating early-season schedule including a trip to USC on Sept. 9, so getting the new faces on offense to gel quickly will be crucial.
