Here is everything you need to know about the Arkansas spring game.

The 2017 season will be an important one for the Arkansas Razorbacks and for head coach Bret Bielema. Arkansas has yet to emerge as a real threat to contend with the likes of the Alabama Crimson Tide and the LSU Tigers in the SEC West.

The Razorbacks went 7-6 (3-5) last season despite having one of the better passers in the SEC in quarterback Austin Allen. He made great strides in his first year as a starter replacing his older brother Brandon, now with the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars.

The younger Allen brother should look to have an excellent senior season in the SEC. That all begins with the Razorbacks’ annual Red-White Spring Game. So when will the glorified exhibition amongst the Arkansas football program be?

The annual Red-White Spring Game will be on Saturday, April 29. Kickoff from Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville will be at 12:00 p.m. ET. The SEC Network will have the national telecast.

Per usual, Arkansas boasts one of the tougher slate of games this upcoming football season. The Razorbacks will host the second of a home-and-home with the Big 12’s TCU Horned Frogs before getting into SEC play.

Arkansas will have a bye week to get ready for its huge neutral-site rivalry game with the Texas A&M Aggies at AT&T Stadium in Arlington for the annual Southwest Classic. Though Arkansas draws the Auburn Tigers at home this year, the bulk of their meaningful SEC games will be on the road. Arkansas has to play the South Carolina Gamecocks in Columbia, Alabama in Tuscaloosa and LSU in Baton Rouge.

The Razorbacks have been a program that will get to bowls annually under Bielema. However, this does not look to be a year that the Arkansas program can get to 10-2 during the regular season and challenge for the SEC West title. For that to happen, Allen will need to be the All-SEC first-team quarterback, which isn’t out of the realm of possibility.
