Kyrie Irving completely sauces Lance Stephenson en-route to a jumper (Video)

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving crosses up Lance Stephenson to a point of no return and hits the jumper to follow suit. The Cavs are facing the Indiana Pacers for Game 2 of their first-round series.

Pre-LeBron James, Kyrie Irving made a name for himself as a promising player on a sub-par team. Irving, a consistent scorer, made up for his team’s lack of success with great highlight plays. This helped Irving parlay his skill set into the memorable Nike character “Uncle Drew.”

Uncle Drew is an elderly man who would appear on street ball courts and crossover/score on players at will. Although it was just a commercial, the nickname for Irving stuck. Tonight against the Indiana Pacers, Irving re-lived his Nike character. Below, he gave Pacers guard Lance Stephenson the complete business.

Sheesh, that’s too much sauce. These are the plays that make Kyrie Irving the dangerous player he is today. In a league that is so 3-point heavy, Irving combines outside shooting with lethal dribbling skills. I mean, who can ever forget the play that won the Cavaliers the NBA title last season?

Luckily for us as basketball fans, Irving is only 25 years old. So, we have at least five-to-seven years to watch Irving continue to dominate the NBA with his incredible handles and lethal shooting.  But for now, another Irving-Steph Curry duel will do.
