Tennis superstar Serena Williams has announced her pregnancy in a Snapchat post.

Serena Williams, tennis superstar and Sports Illustrated athlete of the year, seems to have announced her pregnancy in a post to her story in Snapchat. The caption simply reads “20 weeks,” and features Williams posing.

The assumption is Williams announcing she is 20 weeks into a pregnancy, but it isn’t conclusive. Williams recently got engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian after years of dating rumors, most notably with rapper Drake. A date for the nuptials has not been set yet and before the Australian Open Williams said she was deferring thinking about the tennis competition in front of her. The 20 weeks could refer to a timeline for that wedding too, perhaps.

“I really haven’t thought about it too much, because I wasn’t even really gonna think about it until after the tournament,” Williams said in January. “So, I just keep saying, ‘February, I’ll start looking at the bigger picture of my life.’ But right now, I’m just so focused that this is all I can think about.”

Williams was slated to compete in March but pulled out because of a knee injury and she has yet to compete since winning the Australian Open by defeating her sister, Venus Williams. It would also mean Serena Williams was pregnant when she won the tournament.

Serena Williams currently holds 23 Grand Slam titles, more than any other player in the Open Era. The next Grand Slam tournament is the French Open in late May and early June, Williams will presumably not compete in that tournament if she is pregnant. Wimbledon in early July might also be off the table.
