After winning the NFC North for the fifth time in six seasons, the Green Bay Packers’ 2017 schedule will be top heavy once again.

Both the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots have reached the playoffs eight consecutive seasons and counting. But while Bill Belichick’s team has made three Super Bowl appearances over that stretch and walked away with a pair of NFL titles, that same winning feeling has eluded quarterback Aaron Rodgers and company.

Back in 2010, the Pack was a 10-6 wild-card team that would eventually walk away with a Lombardi Trophy. They have yet to get back to the Big Game since, falling one win short two of the past three years.

Literally, the road ahead looks like a difficult one. There are trips to Atlanta, Dallas and Pittsburgh.

These are the home and away opponents this season:

Home: Detroit, Minnesota, Chicago, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Seattle

Away: Detroit, Minnesota, Chicago, Atlanta, Carolina, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Dallas

Here is how the complete schedule, week-by-week, lays out (updated upon release):

This offseason, Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson has been busier than usual when it comes to adding players via free agency. It’s a bit of a departure from the organization’s recent philosophy but timing is certainly everything. And as is the case for every team, the postseason is never a guarantee.

On the other hand, the defending NFC North champions certainly took their share of hits this offseason in terms of departures. Is this team deep enough to overcome so many losses? It’s been a franchise that has managed to overcome its share of setbacks in recent years.
