The Tennessee Titans went 9-7, and just barely missed the playoffs, finishing second in the AFC South.

The Tennessee Titans took a major step forward in 2016. They went from 2-14 to a team one win away from the playoffs. With a young core in place, big things are expected this season.

Their schedule will play out as follows, per NFL.com:

The obvious question with Tennessee right now is their quarterback, Marcus Mariota. Mariota broke his leg late into last season, which effectively ended any chance they had at making a run. However, the most recent reports are that he is walking, and there is no doubt he will be good to go by the start of the season.

The Titans were able to add to the team in free agency, mainly on the defensive side of the ball. Their big addition was Logan Ryan. Ryan can play slot and outside, which gives Dick LeBeau a great piece to build his defense with. They also added Jonathan Cyprien, a great in the box safety.

In the draft, the team will most certainly be looking to add at wide receiver. Cornerback, linebacker and defensive line may also be addressed, but this is now a team looking for finishing touches rather than core players.

It is a much different look and feel for the Titans than previous years, and there is much more positivity in the air surrounding this team than a year before.
