DraftKings NBA Picks April 21
We are on to the third games of the first round series, but we only have three games on tap. That’s still enough to play on DraftKings! Will things change with the venue change? Who has figured out what from the first two games? Let’s try and figure this thing out!

The money line was down to 247.75. My lineup came in at 271.25 despite a terrible game from Serge Ibaka thanks to LeBron James and the huge Cleveland comeback on the Pacers.
The winning lineup was also down to 318.75. He had the winning combination of LeBron and Paul George, and most importantly, no Raptors.

PG: Russell Westbrook ($13,900): The NBA prophecy says….and in the second game, Russell nearly dropped a hundred spot, and he was never faded again….
SG: Marcus Smart ($5,200): Smart has actually outperformed Avery Bradley so far in the playoffs. He has turned out to be an excellent bargain so far in the playoffs. With the venue shifting to the United Center, it shouldn’t affect his output much. He will still be in the high 20’s to low 30’s for DraftKings points. I wanted to use James Harden as well, but I didn’t like the look of my lineup. This one seems much more suited to win some cash.
G: Chris Paul ($9,100): And yes, it is all because of Paul. CP3 has 104.75 DraftKings points in the first two games of the series. Utah will keep him from having a truly great game, but you really can’t argue with the numbers he has put up so far.
Pivot: Patrick Beverley ($5,900). Beverley has had a huge series, and though it is tougher for him to get value at this price, it’s hard to see him having an off game at this point.
SF: Andre Roberson ($4,900): Even with Westbrook going off in Game 2, Roberson still dropped over 30 DraftKings points again. Roberson is a huge part of this series, and should continue to be a bargain shopper’s friend for at least the rest of the Houston series, and possibly longer if the Thunder manage to win it.
PF: Kelly Olynyk ($4,600): It has been Olynyk, not Amir Johnson, that has been the bigger part of the game for Boston in this series. Olynyk has 56 DraftKings points in the first two games of the series. That is good enough for 6.5x value! He should keep up his solid play in Chicago as the series moves West.
C: Robin Lopez ($5,300): Lopez has actually outdone Clint Capela, who has had a nice series for Houston. Like Roberson and Patrick Beverley, Lopez has picked it up a notch in the postseason. This is a tough one because I really wanted to use Beverley again, but I couldn’t justify fading Russ or CP3.
Pivot: DeAndre Jordan ($7,400) Jordan has been eating the Jazz alive inside with Gobert out. He is a much safer play than Blake Griffin right now.
F: Boris Diaw ($3,600): Diaw isn’t going to do a whole lot in his time on the court, but with Rudy Gobert out again, Diaw will be relied upon to give Derrick Favors some rest. Diaw has been serviceable in this series, picking up 37.25 DraftKings points over the two games. That puts him a little above 5x value.
Pivot: Joe Ingles ($4,700) Ingles continues to play more than Rodney Hood in the series. It’s a combination of Hood’s struggles against the Clippers this year and a lingering knee issue. Ingles is a good punt option.
UTIL: Jerami Grant ($3,400): Grant has picked up minutes all over the place in this series, tallying 53 in two games while putting up 38.5 DraftKings points. The Thunder can use his defense right now. Considering they nearly won Game 2, the Thunder are going to use Grant the way he has been, making him a pretty safe value play right now.
