Here’s how to watch Friday’s Georgia Tech football Spring Game online.

Fans will get a first look at the 2017 Georgia Tech football team when the Yellow Jackets take the field for their annual Spring Game on Friday night at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Following a miserable 3-9 campaign in 2015, Paul Johnson helped the Yellow Jackets bounce back with a 9-4 record last year. Georgia Tech won four games in a row to close out the season, including impressive road wins over Virginia Tech and rival Georgia.

Replicating that success this season will be a challenge, as the Yellow Jackets lose a number of important pieces. Three-year starting quarterback Justin Thomas graduated during the offseason, leaving a wide-open competition between juniors Matthew Jordan and TaQuon Marshall, along with a pair of redshirt freshman in Lucas Johnson and Jay Jones.

The quarterback competition will be the main storyline to watch on Friday night, but Georgia Tech has a number of other position battles to keep an eye on. Three members of last year’s starting defensive line are gone, along with longtime center Freddie Burton.

Johnson will also be interested in watching the development of running back Dedrick Mills, who is coming off a huge freshman year. Mills rushed for 771 yards and 13 touchdowns in just nine games last year, and leads a running back group that returns nearly every key member.
